Posted: 19 May 2009 04:15 AM PDT

Speaking to the media recently, Vedhika said," The shooting of the film Malai Malai in which I am starring has been completed. My concentration is in acting and dancing.

They are asking me whether I will act wearing bikini suit or in glamour roles. It won't suit me. I don't give importance for glamour roles because I wish to continue in cinema for a long time. I am acting in a Telugu film directed by Chaitanya.

Rohit is pairing with me in this film. He is also the relative of ex Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu. 5 days shooting of this film has been completed. The Kannada film Sangma which I paired with Ganesh has been released and has been received well. I want to act in quality film which has good story. I don't want to act in more films."

Posted: 19 May 2009 04:06 AM PDT

Suriya's Aadhavan is nearing completion and the actor is gearing up to move on to his next project in the pipeline – Singam – which will be directed by Hari. The actor's earlier film Ghajini, which was remade in Hindi with the same title, had Bollywood star Aamir Khan in the lead. This film went on to do very well at the box office.
Perhaps, Ghajini's success in Bollywood has played a pivotal role in Suriya agreeing to sign a full fledged Hindi film. News from Tamil film industry is that Suriya has been approached by ace director Ram Gopal Varma to star in his forthcoming Hindi film Ratha Charithra. It needs to be seen if Suriya will try his luck in Bollywood.

Heart-binding love tragedies of Tamil Cinema

Posted: 19 May 2009 03:56 AM PDT

Let it be an ordinary man moving across the platforms or a Government Employee or top-charting tycoon. Everyone have a great likeliness for their sweethearts in their lives. Well, here are some of the heart-binding tragedies in Tamil Cinema where not just the protagonist but entire mass feel sympathetic with his sweet girl's death…. Precisely, there've been many films of that sort and we have merely focused on this decade.
Kaakha Kaakha – An unexpected twist in the tale after a day of their marriage. Jyothika's death scene in this film had got us moved more with emotions, especially when he knows that there's only 1% left for her life and runs for aid.
Vaaranam Aayiram – Again, Gowtham Menon had spelled an emotional sort of action with Surya losing his ladylove Sameera Reddy just at his sight on a bomb blast.
Ananda Thandavam – How can one resist an innocent girl getting for a worst culmination? Perhaps, her death in the climax part and following parts in airport was more moving.
Sarvam – This is the ever best stunningly crafted situation as the title suggests anything can happen within next fraction of seconds. Elatedly moving for a cycle race on Elliots Beach road, things go worst. Right after getting to know about her death, Aarya emotes stupendously where none of the actors have performed before.

I am going to China to participate in this festival. I have two stories in hand, out of which one will be science fiction. Such films have not been made in Tamil so far. I have planned to direct this film in a different way.
This film will be made in Hindi and Tamil. Now a days there is no difficulty in getting producers. So I am not rushing. I have planned to spend some more months on stories."
