Posted: 09 Mar 2009 10:10 AM PDT
For the first time in the history of Indian as well as world cinema, a movie is going to be made in just 12 days.
Now several movies must have been previously completed in less than 12 days in different parts of the world. But what makes this attempt special is that from the concept, the script building, the music composing, fixing locations, production, editing, getting the censor certificate to the fully finished film hitting the big screens, everything will happen within these 12 days.
The date on which the work of the film will be flagged off is April 13 at 6 p.m. and the race against the time will end at April 25 at precisely 6.p.m. There is a purpose to be fulfilled by taking up such a challenge and completing the flick.
It is to gain entry into the Guinness book of World records for a new record.
Suresh Joachim, the multiple Guinness record holder from Canada who has more than 50 Guinness Records to his credit is the lead actor of the film.
The film is going to be produced Suresh Joachim and Andrew Raymond. V Krishnamoorthy has been fixed as the director of the film. Deva will be doing the music and editing will be carried out by V.T.Vijayan. Vairamuthu is the lyrics writer and V.Prabhakar will pen down the dialogues.
S.Indrajith, Zamal Deen, and Srinivaas are the cinematographers working in this novel attempt.
Vivek, Meera Jasmine, Suman, Bose Venkat, Rajiv, Alex, Thayagu and Shravan are the lead actors of the movie.
For reasons connected to record-entry-stipulations, the title of the movie and the project is not supposed to be revealed till it is screened. So for the time being the film has been given the title 'Guinness Vision'.
Nine members from Guinness will be present at the shooting locations to keep tab on the proceedings.
The film with the duration of 140 minutes and three songs will be flagged off by the Chief Minister of Pudhucherry- V.Vaithiyalingam.

Exclusive Interview - Shriya Charan

How far good would be your role in this film?
I enact the role of a stylish-carefree girl named Subalakhsmi. She's a damn good rich girl, but never carries of that image. She's dead against the evil acts in society and keeps fighting against it. When she returns to India, she falls in love with Vikram after several conflicts.
Kandasamy – Is it based on societal genre or history-making romance film?
It a perfect mix of both the aspects. It's out and most a complete show of 'Vikram. There happens to be a great act of fighting injustice as well a heart-binding romance.
You look so stunningly stylish than ever before.
Yeah! My heartiest thanks to Director Susi Ganesh for depicting in such a way. Both Susi and costume designer Chaitanya Rao made me look sizzling on the screen with the lavish costumes. I am sure that none would have spotted me so titillating on the screens.
What else more on your character?
My introduction scene would be like myself getting out of Beautiful Opera House in Italy singing a song. I am pretty sure none have shot here before and none of the actresses would've had the best intros in their respective films.
Looks like there are whole lot of lip-locks and more intimate sequences with Vikram?
(Sighs) Don't ever question like this? You'll witness what you expect on the screens. it's a bad investigation. (Smiles gently).
What's next after Kandasamy?
Already, post production works for my other film 'Jaggubhai' with Sarath Kumar has been completed and would release soon. I am pairing up with Vishal for 'Thoranai', Aarya for 'Chikku Bukku' and more talks are going on.

Adharva was actually set to make his debut in a movie produced by Pyramid Saimira. But due to many reasons, the project was delayed and Baana
happened. Going by the tradition of the Sathya Jyothi films, even Baana should be a clean family entertainer with a good story. However, the title Baana, which means arrow, seems to suggest an action-oriented theme.

Time to Pray for Vijay fans - MGR Fans Frustrated

Alas! Right from his Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, Kuruvi and Villu, everything has been great flops at box office that has been forcefully made to cross 100 days. Now, let's hope Vijay's 'Vettaikaaran' would work magic. Or else it would be a great shame not for Vijay, but for MGR who prestigiously added glory to his film same title.
So, all MGR must start praying for the film's success if they don't want their Thalaivar's name to be spoiled…
