It is learnt that musician Devi Sri Prasad was impressed with Vikram's ability to sing, after he sang a few rough tracks during the film's song composition in Malaysia. In less than a jiffy, it was decided that Vikram would sing 4 songs for the movie for his character. The songs, Mania, Poda Podi, Excuse Me Mr. Kanthaswamy and Kuchi Mittai are also recorded in Vikram's voice in Telugu. Besides that producer Kalaipuli Dhanu also has plans to dub the movie into few international languages including Italian, English and Spanish. Now we have no clue if the international versions will have songs. And if they do, whether Vikram sings the versions is left to anybody's imagination for now.
Kanthaswamy's audio is slated to be released in March with the movie targeting for an April release.

According to reports the comedian who is highly sought after is planning to marry soon. His relatives have chosen a girl from Theni to be his blushing bride. The bride herself is a relative of 'Ganja' Karuppu.
The reports also add that the comedian has recently purchased a four-storey bungalow in Adambakkam where he plans to move in after marriage. The bungalow has been christened 'Bala – Ameer Illam' – this is 'Ganja' Karuppu's way of thanking the directors for giving him a new life. 'Ganja' Karuppu was an office boy in Bala's office and his unique way of speech and body language prompted Bala and Ammer to try him out before the camera. It worked big time and 'Ganja' Karuppu has about fifteen projects under his belt.
The 'Grahapravesam' of the house would be held before the marriage. Way to go 'Ganja' Karuppu.
It's grave injustice: Nayantara
Posted: 06 Feb 2009 09:31 AM CST
Nayantara was issued a ban at a joint meeting of the two bodies following a complaint lodged by Subash Chandra Bose, the producer of 'Paiya'. The extreme step was taken as Nayantara refused to return the advance amount she had received for 'Paiya'.
On the ban, she reportedly said, 'this is injustice and I never told Lingusamy that I am opting out of the film. I had received an amount of Rs 20 lakhs from him as advance for 'Paiya' and gave dates from September 2008'.
'This decision was taken without consulting me' Nayantara declared.
The dusky actress who is currently shooting for a Telugu film said, 'I asked Nadigar Sangam for help in order to sort out this matter and now they too have turned against me'.
Interestingly, the ban may not have any impact on Nayantara (at least for the time being) because she has reportedly committed movies in other languages and is expected to be busy with them till the end of this year.
However, the Producers Council has said in its statement that it would request the producers' associations in other languages to cooperate with them and not sign Nayantara for any further films.
I had to waste three months of my time waiting for 'Paiya' to begin. Unfortunately, it was postponed. Will they compensate my loss?' she asked.
