For many, she's 'A Dream Girl' and this missy is the latest sensational heartthrob for youngsters in town. Not merely does she sizzles with her dazzling physiques, but has the capability of shifting paradigms in her characterizations from each film.
With media channels rounding her up with the more buzzes and many rumors shooting out, Nayanthara opens her heart towards every issues relevant to her.
Take a look on her interaction with media recently after the release of Villu…
What makes you sign a project?
Every time, I sign a project it's the banner, directors and actors with whom I team makes a big deal. As you all know, although I made my debut with 'Ayya', it was Chandiramukhi that shot me to fame. So, 'lead actors' is what I keep in mind while signing a film.
Scripts today are often centering on male stars… Heroines don't get scope to express their potential.
Yeah! But every actress performs exceptional roles today were once donning clichéd characters of falling in love with their heroes and dancing with him.
Any chances of picking female-dominating film….
I'm ready for such offers. But none of the filmmakers approached me such scripts.
But, you are so keen on glamorous shows.
If so, why wouldn't you take my other films 'Ayya', 'E' and 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' into considerations? I performed character with different shade sans glamour. Didn't you watch the film?
You seem to be 'Gossip-Bounded'.
Who doesn't like reading gossips? I loved reading them during my college days. But, then being a victim of gossip makes me feel quite distressed. But then, there was a kind of enlightenment that turning into 'Page 3' offers both fame and rumors. You've got to accept.
'Nayan is topmost Page-3' – How does it make you feel?
It makes me happy. But quite worrying for I have to sacrifice everything including my friends. Fans wanna see their stars as nice as they feel us to be their role models and that makes me avoid the favorite dishes.
You're looking so beautiful. Must be spending whole lot of time for it
(Laughs) I avoid ice creams, concentrated beverages, and food with oil stuffs and spend more on skin maintenance.
Without ice creams and beverages, things must be getting tough for you.
But, I don't miss North Indian dishes I love it right from my childhood days.
Do you cook them?
Nah! I'm a excellent food critic. But no one wants to risk tasting my dish.
What's so special with Nayanthara?
Nothing great! I don't know to define myself. Well, I plan up few things and when they don't turn up, it's merely frustrations. Even when I try not exposing them, my face reveals of it. Things I love is about going for a long drive with melodious songs loaded in my I-POD.
People you love.
None other than my family members… I share my pain and joyful moments with them. My parents care for me extending a great freedom, but as I cross my limits, they're there to stop me.
Had you ever dreamt about pairing with Vijay?
Who wouldn't dream it to appear on the screen with such a great actor? I would say, I was a lucky one to pick the great opportunity.
Your forthcoming projects on the line…
At the moment, busy shooting for Director Siddique's Malayalam film 'Body Guard' and an untitled film with Surya in lead directed by KS Ravikumar.
Heard that 'Body Guard' remake in Tamil has Vijay in lead? Since you are the female lead in Malayalam version, would you pair up with Vijay for this remake?
(Smiles) You've got to ask the director. Right now, I am completely occupied with Malayalam version to give my best efforts.
