Having touched a few hearts in Tamil Nadu, looks like, it's time for Radha Mohan's Abhiyum Naanum to cross borders. The movie's remake rights in both Telugu and Hindu have been traded for huge sums recently. It's considered quite unusual for the remake rights of an offbeat Tamil movie that does not focus on entertainment to be sold for such
huge sums in Telugu. It could be the flower power – Trisha, to be precise, who has a strong market in Telugu, according to analysts.
On the other hand, a regular consumer of the remake rights of Tamil movies, Boney Kapoor also watched the movie with spouse Sridevi and was reportedly bowled over by the movie's potential. Result? The Hindi rights were sold to him at a whopping sum. We also hear that Boney has already made plans for Anil Kapoor to star in Prakash Raj's role in the Hindi remake. However, we have no clue if Trisha will be retained!
