Director Bala's Arya starrer 'Naan Kadavul' is expected to be released this Pongal.
The movie is slated to be censored on the 30th of December, 2008. Industry sources are of the opinion that 'Naan Kadavul' has come out very well and has the potential to sweep the National Awards.
The movie is devoid of a facet that is a norm with feature films – Digital Intermediary (DI). Films that have not gone through the DI phase are not considered for the National Award. This could prove to be a set back for the think-tank behind 'Naan Kadavul'.
According to reports, Ilayaraja was mighty impressed after seeing the film. The maestro was joined by Uttam Singh for the re-recording.
The movie was shot in Varanasi, Kasi, Kanchipuram and Periyakulam.
