After churning out consecutive commercial hits with Sundar C and Sathyaraj, director Sakthi Chidambaram unites them together with 'Guru Shishyan'. The film's shooting was completed before a long time and is now gearing up for release in March.Sakthi Chidambaram himself has produced the film under the banner name of Cinema Paradiso and wielded megaphone. The film was supposed to feature Vadivelu in comedy role and was later replaced by Santhanam. Kollywood's latest bombshell Hema Malini has rechristened her name as Shruthi and will perform female lead.The film's audio will be released on February 27 at Prasad Lab Theatre around 6.30 in the evening. Politician A.C. Shanmugam has been invited as chief guest to launch the audio along with existing executive members of Producers Council, who are well-known for attending all the film events.The audio release invitation has a special mention as 'SIXER TEAM' that lists 6 celebrities' name starting with 'S' – Sathyaraj, Sundar C, Shruthi, Santhanam, Saranya, Sakthi Chidambaram.Dheena has scored music to the lyrics of Kabilan.

When tragedy strikes, Mandira is devastated and they split. Rizvan is confused and very upset that the love of his life has left him. To win her back, he embarks on a touching and inspiring journey across America.
