Kareena Kapoor play a tomboyish character for the first time in Golmaal 3, being directed by Rohit Shetty.
It is learned that, while the director was writing the story, decided to give Kareena normally glamorous image a break in the film and offer an unusual place. He does not want to do the glam doll act again. He wanted her to be part of the gang of boys including Devgn Ajay, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade.
The source reveals, "Kareena sports casual wear in the movie. No designer dresses, shoes and handbags for her. He will play a badass that Tapori abusive language channels and rides a bicycle around. She was seen doing dadagiri like Children in gangs. "

Synopsis:- The film revolves around a lower cast guy who had gone along with his 2 friends to a village - Jhanjhar in Bihar, his native place, to watch Ramleela. This 3 students of Delhi University go missing in the dusty village. In the previous 3 months there was no clue where the young students have vanished. Media and student movements all over Bihar takes a pivotal step for getting hint of these students, its then government appoint two CBI officers Pratap Kumar and Siddhant Chaturvedi and find out the truth under it. A person residing in Bihar himself and, Pratap understands the intricacies of race relations in small towns like Jhanjhar. Pratap tries to use his charm and smartness to crack investigation whereas Siddhant has very no non-sense, direct approach investigation. It's simply a clash of personalities and ideoligies.
Investigating in Jhanjhar becomes tough task for these officers as the local police force headed by Bhuma Ram with the help of local MP's and landlords run a major branch of Shool Sena. At the same time the two officers cannot break the ice with local Low Cast Community, due to years of fear instilled in them by regular and highly planed Shool Sena attacks. Roshni (daughter of the most powerful and richest person of the village) acts as a key element to reveal certain realities and give a new direction to the investigation.
Soon the effect of their investigation cause mayhem in the village - Jhanjhar, with riots, burning of houses and killing of peasents in broad daylight. Slowli Pratap with Siddhant's help starts cracking the case by exerting his influence upon Geeta (a victim of the same inhuminity), who acts as a final key to the investigation.

Akshay Kumar's latest 2009 flick is "Kambakkht Ishq." In this romantic comedy he teams up with bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor. Akshay Acts as a Hollywood stuntman while Kareena stars as model with no patience for Kumar's arrogance. The stuntman role should come natural to him since he just finished shooting "8x10" with action sequences as well as "Blue" which features Akshay surrounded by 40 sharks in one scene. Kareena Kapoor on the other hand will have some experience with a sour relationship as her latest film "Main Aur Mrs. Khanna" shows off a good marriage gone astray. "Kambakkht Ishq" is a film that is bringing together the east and west, a trend becoming more prevalent in Bollywood cinema. Later this year the film "New York" will be released which was filmed in New York and Philadelphia. The Sajid Nadiadwala film ran into some issues when the promo for the film was shown to have offensive language to showcase the hate between Kareena and Akshay. Expect action sequences from the film and fireworks between Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. Setting the film in Hollywood gives the viewer something different to look at. And having the two main stars hate each other offers an interesting battle of the sexes. Hollywood also offers a couple of its giants to appear as cameos in the film. Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brandon Routh, and Denise Richards are confirmed to be part of the film. This isn't the first time that Akhsay will be working with a western icon. He just teamed up with Kylie Minogue for a song in "Blue." With the list of stars, "Kambakkht Ishq" is set to be one the biggest release of 2009 with much hype from the media.
