Next to join this bandwagon will be 'Payanam'. This bilingual movie made by Radha Mohan has Nagarjuna playing the lead role. The film is about flight hijack and a commando striving to save them. The film has a running length of just 100mins.

Priyamani in Kushi Remake

The Tamil blockbuster 'Khushi' is now being remade in Kannada. While Ganesh will play the role played by Vijay in the original, guess who is going to replace Jyothika? She is Priyamani, who is shining bright in all four south Indian languages.
Produced by Udayachandra Productions, the film titled 'Eno Onthara' is directed by Magesh. If sources are to be believed, the actress immediately said 'yes' when she was contacted to know her willingness to be a part of the project.
"Jyothika is one of my favourite actresses. I am happy to bag the heroine role in the Kannada remake of 'Khushi', which was beautifully played by her in the Tamil version. I will strive to do my best to repeat the magic," Priyamani says.
Besides this Kannada project, Priyamani is acting in one more Sandalwood film too, we learn. She is also there in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Raavanan', Ram Gopal Varma's 'Raktha Charithra' and a couple of Telugu films.

SURA’S RELEASE DATE

Sura, Vijay's 50th film, is expected to be released on April 23rd. The date release has not been announced officially as yet because the team is waiting to have it censored before announcing the date.Sura has garnered enough attention because it happens to be Ilayathalapthi's 50th film. And one more reason is that the distribution rights have been acquired by Sun Pictures, which means enough publicity and surefire success at the box office.

The distribution rights of Siddharth, Shruti Haasan's fantacy film were acquired by global production and distribution company, 'Walt Disney Pictures' for an undisclosed amount. According to the reports Walt Disney has joined with Pixar Animation Studios to make their entry to Telugu film market.

The movie has earlier completed its shooting in Ramoji Film City and Vishakapatnam. K. Prakssh is directing this film and K.Raghavendra Rao is producing it under the banner, 'A Belly Full of Dreams Pvt.Ltd '(ABODE). Mickey J.Meyer is composing the music. Cinematography will be handled by Soundarajan. The movie also has visual effects and graphics for about 30 minutes in the film. The film will be simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil in the year 2010.
