Producers AGS Entertainment of  the Mysskin directed venture Yudham Sei that features Cheran in the lead role have announced that the movie will be released on February 4 according to industry reports.

The audio launch function will happen on Sunday, also to be telecast live on television from 11.30 am.It is rooted to be a racy thriller, where Cheran plays the role of a CBI officer.



Director Ameer and the sultry siren Neetu Chandra will shake a leg as the item girl adding spice to the movie.
Rajnikanth, was recently in news and had thoroughly been impressed with the film .In praise of  the director he commented "Hats off to Mysskin and his team."

Pokkisham – yet another nostalgic journey by Cheran

Completely made in Cheran's signature style, Pokkisham looks brilliant and as nostalgic and promising as Autograph. The film is certain to achieve the success of Autograph, in fact overtake it.
In a press meet held recently, Cheran stated that the film will be presented through the protagonist's standpoint, while he flips through an old diary and his memories. When a reporter asked Cheran whether he is trying to repeat the successful formula of Autograph, the director replied that he chose the story because it was close to his heart and not because he wanted to exploit an already tried concept. He also added that it was very difficult to film this story, as it happens in Kolkotta of the 70s and it required immense hard work to replicate the old charm of the city.
Cheran also announced that the film is absolutely ready to hit the screens, but he prefers to release it after the elections.

Pokkisham On Location

Pokkisham is in the last leg of its shooting. Cheran is paired with Padmapriya in this movie. The 'stills' of the film have been designed to be in the form of a postage stamp. The reason for Cheran's decision to design the stills in 'stamp' form is due to the fact that stamps are an important bearer of forgotten memories. Cheran recalls that for his film 'Porkalam' too, which released almost a decade ago, he had used the same format for the stills.
Padmapriya and Cheran struck accord with the middle class audience in Thavamai Thavamirunthu. Now the lead pair of this movie, Cheran and Padmapriya are back to weave their magic once again with the audience. Pokkisham will be produced by Nemichand Jhabak and V Hitesh Jhabak.
