Kutty & Kanden Kadhalai - Worst Remakes of the season?

Posted: 14 Apr 2009 03:50 AM PDT

Well, there goes a distinct statement in tinsel town – Success lies with the formulas of 'Right Choice – Right Work – Right Approach'. Indeed, many films in the past that had been remade have been getting through such aspects. But, scenarios are completely different when it comes to the present season. It all happened with the remake films that are soon to hit the screens. 'Jab We Met' in Hindi and Telugu Blockbuster 'Aarya' aren't just a grand success in just North India and Andhra Pradesh, but across the world.
Today, we find a normal guy with no perfect knowledge about Hindi cinema in Chennai humming the best tunes of Jab We Met… Aye! Those who go to pubs and discotheques love to dance for Aarya's 'Aa Ante Aalapuram'… But, now remaking these films should be really worrying the buffs.
When Shahid and Kareena made the stunning pairs for this film… But Bharath's choice has really dismantled everyone's heart. The best exemplification was that the comments by Kavitha on Kollywood Today Exclusive.
Aarya – It was a wonderful film that won critics' review with 4 out of 5 Stars. Don't know how this pair Dhanush and Shriya would make it. Allu Arjun suited the role of a rich carefree youth and I'm sure none of his features would suit Dhanush.
Let's bear the trials, tribulations and sufferings for the reason….

Madhavan doesn't deny that he has thought of his director Vikram K Kumar directing a sequel to his successful 'Yaavarum Nalam'. Just a month after the movie has hit the screens, the director and Madhavan are out on a vacation to the Middle East. What is striking is that Madhavan has sponsored this entire trip for the director as he really likes Vikram and his style of working.
But a sequel is no compulsion, Madhavan says. "We don't want to do a sequel just for the sake of it. There must be a possible story with it," he says, adding that their trip will lead to a discussion about it some way or the other. If a sequel seems viable, we might go ahead with it. Else, it will just be a boy's time out, with outdoor camping and adventure sports," says the actor.
Interestingly, Madhavan's 'Naan Aval Adhu' with Shamitha Shetty and Sada, said to be a take off from Ram Gopal Varma's 'Darling', is now finding good market and will hit the screens very soon.
