Certainly, she happens to be the only actress who despites pairing up with Rajnikanth didn't fetch good results in her other films. Shriya Charan's Bollywood venture has been really disastrous as all her flicks had terribly flunked at box office.
Now, this Friday weekend would be a crucial day for this missy as her 'Ek – The Power of One' would be hitting screens. The film with Bobby Deol and Nana Patekar in lead roles has Shriya as the heroine.
This film directed by Sangeeth Sivan, younger brother of Director-Filmmaker Santhosh Sivan is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster 'Athudu' starring Mahesh Babu and Trisha in lead roles.
Let's wait and watch whether her Bollywood journey would continue or stop. Keep logging to this column for more updates on this issue.

Though Bharath couldn't inherit the title of MGR, he was sure about expressing his token of gratitude to legendary superstar. Fine! There would be a song where he will be appearing in the makeovers of MGR and Sana Khan as Saroja Devi. Apart from this, a 80-ft cut out of MGR was erected on the shores of Kovalam and a song was shot there with more junior artists.

Actor Kishore lands himself in trouble
Posted: 23 Mar 2009 08:02 AM PDT
Kishore, who recently featured in 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' as a Kabadi coach, had also produced a Kannada film, titled 'Kabadi', in which he played the Kabadi coach.
Kabadi's director, Narendra Babu, has been fuming ever since he saw 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu', accusing Kishore of incorporating a few scenes of Kabadi in 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu'. "Both these films were based on the same sport and Kishore plays the coach in both of them. A few scenes in Vennila were directly taken from my Kannada film," says Narendra, accusing Kishore for telling the story to Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu's crew.
Actor Kishore, on his part, has denied the accusation. "I'm producing the Kannada film 'Kabadi'. Why would I then use its story for another film?" he asks.

And Arya has just signed up for a Telugu flick. The film, which features Allu Arjun, as the hero, will cast Arya in a different role as a villain.
Such roles with negative shades are not new to the actor, who has done characters like that in 'Pattiyal' and 'Arindhum Ariyamalum'. He, however, will be launched as a full fledged villain, in this Telugu film, to be directed by Gunasekar.
'Pre Production work for this yet-to-be-named film has been on for eight months. The villain's character, which Arya has agreed to play, is clearly on par with that of the hero himself,' vows director Gunasekar.
