Sakthi Chidambaram is producing and directing a film titled 'Rajathi Raja' and dance director, actor Larencce plays the hero. An interesting feature of this film is that Larencce would be surrounded in the cool company of six top heroines.
Heroines in 'Rajathi Raja' include Mumtaz, Namitha, Meenakshi, Snigtha, Samiksha and Kamna Jethmalani.
Actress Meenakshi, who starred in 'Karupusamy Kuthagaikarar' is a trained dancer who shakes her legs with Larencce for two songs in 'Rajathi Raja'.
As Larencce himself an extraordinary choreographer , Meenakshi feels it more challenging to co-dance with him and she has plans to have prior practice from Larencce himself for some difficult dance movements.
The film also has its shoot tomorrow on October 15th in Munnar.

Actresses woe-stricken by glamour

Posted: 14 Oct 2008 05:01 AM CDT

For certain actresses, who are not able to churn out the best works in their performance, they found the best way to stick in safety side by skin shows. Take it for long-listed heroines Nayanthara, Shriya Charan, Trisha and whoever might be. None of them were appreciated so far for their good performance, but enjoyed their privilege of attracting few groups of audiences with their skin shows.
Nayanthara hasn't so far brimmed up with laudable performance in any of her films. She has been just appearing not just in glamorous looks, but something more than it. Take Vallavan, Satyam and Kuselan, she tried the maximum with glamour and every flick of hers flopped…
Shriya Charan happens to be the most pathetic actress for she too hasn't delivered a good performance other than 'Mazhai'. Rest of her films is that you can see her exposing her moves and shakes…
Despites pairing up with leading actors like Vikram and Vijay for this year's release 'Bheema' and 'Kuruvi', she has witnessed success with any of the films. Sneha was good enough in her performance, though she didn't top-the-chart. But, running out of her mind, she tried with her glamorous quotient in 'Pandi'. Again, the results were same…
So, these missies should have well understood that just glamorous appeal will not result in rise of career graph. Of course, Bollywood actresses Aishwarya Rai, Kajol and almost all the entire actresses even after marriage take on with glamorous roles and yet it works out. You know the reason why? They have the best potentials of churning out best performance emoting to different situations. This is one fine rigid reason, why all the actresses outshine there and for a great instance actress who has good beauty and yet go unrecognized is Diya Mirza.
Ileana is good in her looks, but she hasn't been well utilized in any of the films properly. In Tollywood, scenario has turned to be so pathetic that producers shell out more money, heroines are there ready to appear in as less much dresses. Anuksha getting paid a Crore in the remake of Billa for appearing in swimsuits and glamorous costumes.
This is really sickening and if these actresses want to sustain themselves in the film industry, they must realize the audiences' insight and go accordingly to it….
